Usage Policies
Last updated: July 23, 2025
Welcome to Open Code Mission. By requesting an API key, joining the waitlist, or using any part of our platform, you agree to follow these rules. We keep them short, clear, and focused on protecting people and ideas.
1. Accounts & API Keys
- Use one key per project. Don't share keys in public repos or forums.
- Rotate or revoke a key immediately if you think it's been exposed.
- You're responsible for everything done with your keys.
2. Fair Use & Rate Limits
We throttle requests to keep the service stable for everyone. If you need higher limits, contact us. Automated scraping, denial‑of‑service tests, or traffic flooding are prohibited.
3. Prohibited Uses & Content Moderation
Disallowed Content Categories
- Illegal Content: Any activity or content that violates applicable laws
- Harmful Content: Sexual abuse material, child exploitation, or violent extremism
- Fraudulent Content: Scams, phishing, or deceptive practices
- Privacy Violations: Personal information without consent or legal authority
- Intellectual Property: Copyright infringement or trademark violations
- Competitive Training: Using outputs to train competing AI models without written license

- Appeals are reviewed by senior content moderation team
- Response provided within 14 days of appeal submission
- Final decisions may be appealed to legal team for complex cases
4. Intellectual Property
We keep the core systems—Memory Trinity, VerumSphere, and all service runtimes—private. You own your prompts and your app data; we own the engines that process them. Usage schemas and public protocols are licensed for integration only, not re‑distribution.
5. Security & Data Handling
- Encrypt data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest in your systems.
- Don't send personal data you're not authorized to share.
- Report security issues privately to security@ocmxai.com—give us 72 h to respond before disclosure.
6. API Usage Monitoring
We monitor API usage to ensure service stability, prevent abuse, and improve our platform. This monitoring is transparent and respects your privacy.
Data We Collect and Store
- Usage Metrics: Request frequency, response times, and error rates
- Technical Data: IP addresses, user agents, and API endpoints accessed
- Performance Data: System load, resource utilization, and service health
- Security Events: Failed authentication attempts and suspicious activity patterns
- Content Metadata: Request size, content type, and processing duration (not content itself)
Monitoring and Logging Practices
- Real-time monitoring for service health and performance
- Automated alerts for unusual usage patterns or potential abuse
- Regular analysis of usage trends to improve service quality
- Secure logging with access controls and audit trails
- Data anonymization where possible to protect user privacy
